About Our Program

The GHS Basketball Program is a competitive program where equal emphasis is placed on learning the game, becoming a person of high character, and winning. There are three teams: Frosh, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. All teams play under the same rules and only the Varsity team has the opportunity for playoff contention. Only 9th/10th grade players can be a part of the Frosh team. The JV team consists of only 9th-11th grade players, while the Varsity team can consist of any player from any grade.
